AI agents for food safety and food fraud, shown on four everyday quality tasks: a free 30-minute webinar with iComplai CEO Asli Solmaz-Kaiser on Monday 23 November 2026, 18:00 CET.

AI agents are moving from demos into daily food safety work. The question is what they can be trusted to prepare, and what a person still has to check.[1]

Utilising AI Agents for Food Safety and Food Fraud is a free 30-minute webinar on Microsoft Teams on Monday 23 November 2026, 18:00–18:30 CET. Asli Solmaz-Kaiser, CEO of iComplai, shows how AI agents for food safety and food fraud handle four everyday quality tasks, each prepared by an AI agent for a person to review and decide, and where the agents get it wrong. It is for QA, supplier quality, food safety, regulatory and food fraud professionals, and registration is free.[1]

Agenda

What will the AI agents webinar show?

Four quality tasks a food safety team handles every week. In each one, an AI agent prepares the work and a person reviews it and decides. The webinar walks through all four, from a supplier request to a management summary.[1]

Task 01
Supplier communication
A request for COAs or impact assessment, drafted from the specific risk that triggered it.
Agent prepares→Person decides
Task 02
A vulnerability assessment for one raw material and origin, with the evidence behind each score.
Agent prepares→Person decides
Task 03
Test protocol
Which hazards to test and how often, based on current notifications and origin risk.
Agent prepares→Person decides
Task 04
A management summary built from the same data.
Agent prepares→Person decides
The four tasks, in the words of the event page: each one is prepared by an AI agent for a person to review and decide.[1]
Limits

What does a person still check when an AI agent does the work?

The part that makes an agent usable at all. In the words of the event page: “We’ll also show where the agents get it wrong, what a qualified person still has to check and sign off, and how your own data is handled.”[1]

01
The agent prepares
A draft: the supplier request, the VACCP assessment, the test plan, the management summary
02
A qualified person checks
Where the agent got it wrong, and the evidence behind each score
03
The person decides and signs off
The decision stays with people, and so does the signature
Also on the agenda: how your own data is handled when an agent works with it.[1]

Food safety authorities draw the same line. The UK Food Standards Agency’s Science Council, reporting on AI applications in food safety and authenticity, concluded that “AI must act only as a decision-support tool, with humans retaining accountability”.[2]
